After a year of enjoying her meals and recommending her to my patients, I can report that everything is always perfectly cooked and creatively presented. The variety of recipes Mary uses seems endless; each meal is different and enjoyable – no repeats, no sameness, no “oh, this again.” While the foundation of her meals is vegetables, legumes and healthy grains, she includes high protein foods such as fish. She keeps the taste buds in an anticipatory state with the occasional baklava, spring roll, or other surprise.

Mary Granger's food is always a surprise. Consistently an array of color, and natural flavors that I could clearly identify as "real food." When I learned how few ingredients she uses, I was concerned that I might not be satisfied with what I was left with. Mary’s kind spirit is a blessing. The calm and warmth that I felt when attending her classes made the rest of the week feel like it was going to be okay. Her energy in the kitchen has stayed with me and I have brought it into my own home. I appreciate the part of her heart that she gave us in her cooking.
I was particularly impressed by the quiet, yet firm, instruction offered by Chef Mary. She guided everyone through the rapids though some of us had little experience or aptitude in the kitchen. Her experience and love of her craft was evident. Her tone was pitch perfect as she allowed us to work through the process. Thanks for the unique and enjoyable evening. Expectations were exceeded all around!
Mary is a very patient and kind teacher. She loves what she does and it shows. I’m so appreciative that she has shared her knowledge with me. I loved her hands-on approach because now I feel that I can replicate the meals we made in class at home.
